Pada siklus sebelumnya, Mark Salvatus mempresentasikan video berjudul "Jalan-Jalan" yang dibuatnya selama residensi di Kaliurang pada 900mdpl (2019). Setahun kemudian, residensi tersebut mendorongnya untuk membuat video tentang gunung di kampung halamannya, Gunung Banahaw, berjudul "Hari Yang Paling Ditunggu-tunggu".
Gunung Banahaw adalah
magnet dan tempat perlindungan bagi berbagai komunitas: tempat yang aman bagi
sekte agama dan spiritual, The New People's Army, the Communist Party of the
Philippines, sekaligus tempat yang diduga sebagai tempat UFO mengisi bahan bakar–
menjadikannya lebih ajaib. Dengan keanekaragaman hayati yang kaya, gunung
dikonsepsikan sebagai tempat bagi orang-orang yang tidak ingin diperintah,
berbeda dengan kelas masyarakat yang lebih baik.
Video ini disajikan
untuk siklus kedua "900mdpl: Genealogy of Ghost and How to Live with
Them" (2022) sebagai jembatan menuju format baru dan evolusi 900mdpl
selanjutnya yang diproyeksikan akan menjalin kerjasama dengan berbagai gunung
di seluruh dunia melalui jaringan gunung berapi. Pada saat yang sama, Gunung Banahaw sebagai
tempat aman bagi orang-orang yang tidak ingin diperintah selaras dengan
filosofi Jawa "Adoh ratu cedak watu" (secara harfiah diterjemahkan
sebagai 'jauh dari raja, lebih dekat ke batu').
Filosofi ini berbicara tentang bagaimana mereka yang tinggal lebih dekat
ke gunung jauh dari politik serta pengetahuan tentang pusat dan lebih dekat
dengan pengetahuan menubuh yang dipelajari melalui alam.
Video tersebut
ditayangkan di sebuah pos ronda tempat masyarakat biasanya berkumpul pada malam
hari untuk menjaga lingkungan dari bahaya yang mungkin mengintai. Lokasi ini
juga merupakan situs dimana transmisi pengetahuan informal dan pertemuan
komunitas yang lebih kecil berlangsung.

In the previous cycle, Mark Salvatus presented a video titled "Jalan-Jalan" that he made during his residency in Kaliurang for 900mdpl (2019). A year later, he made a video about the mountain in his hometown, Mount Banahaw, titled "That Day Most Eagerly Awaited".
Mount Banahaw acts as
a magnet and a refuge to various communities: a safe ground for religious and
spiritual sects, The New People's Army, the armed wing of the Communist Party
of the Philippines, and a supposed site for UFO's to refuel-- creating new worlds
and prodigies. With rich biodiversity, the mountain was conceived as a place
for people who do not want to be governed, different from those of the better
classes of society.
This video is being
presented for the second cycle of "900mdpl: Genealogy of Ghost and How to
Live with Them" (2022) as a clue for the next format and evolution of
900mdpl that is projected to connect different mountains around the world
through a network of volcanoes. At the same time, Mt Banahaw as a safe ground
for people who do not want to be governed resonates with the Javanese
philosophy of "Adoh ratu cedak watu" (literally translated as 'far
from the monarch, closer to the stone'). It speaks about how those living
closer to the mountain are far from the politics as well as knowledge of the
center and closer to the embodied knowledge learnt through nature.
The video was
presented in a pos ronda (nightwatch station) where the community usually
gathers for neighborhood watch from dangers that might be lurking at night.
This is also a site where informal knowledge transmission and smaller community
gathering take place.
